Terms and Conditions of Business
This document sets out the basis of an agreement under which we conduct our business and offer our services to you
Pets Home Alone will look after your home and animals in a professional and caring manner.
- All security measures in place will be adhered to.
- We will leave your home clean and tidy as found.
- We hold Public Liability Insurance; however it does not cover customer’s homes from damage caused by their own animals. We recommend customers make sure this is covered by their own Household Insurance.
- Customers should also make their insurers aware that a house sitter is in the premises.
- Horses are not covered for exercising on the road or in the case of their escaping onto the road. Please make sure your horses carry at least third party Insurance.
- We strongly recommend that all customers’ animals are covered by pet insurance.
- Pets Home Alone reserves the right to terminate any agreement if a situation is perceived to have become dangerous. We will make sure you are informed immediately, your home is secure and your animals are cared for until your return.
Payment
- New customers are requested to pay 50% of the total invoice before work commences and the balance on completion.
- Full payment is due within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
- A Finance administration charge of £15 per letter will be charged on correspondence regarding unpaid invoices.
Complaints Proceedure
It is always our intention to provide a first class service. However, should you feel you have cause for complaint you should, in the first instance, contact us on the telephone number provided.
