Pets Home Alone?

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

We have been looking into franchising branches of Pets Home Alone but have found that there are many disadvantages to this for both the franchisee (potential manager of new branch) and the franchisor (original Pets Home Alone).

The disadvantage to the franchisee is if you take a franchise you are considered self employed so you are responsible for running the business, advertising, insurance, employee’s etc but on top of this you will have to pay the franchisor between 15~20% of annual turn over for the duration the business is trading. This is for the use of the company and logo. Also the franchisee has little say over the other branches and who is running them, a bad franchisee can give the company and its branches a bad name.

The disadvantage for the franchisor is that they have multiple branches to look after that are often spread up and down the country and the above reason in that a bad franchisee can damage the whole company.

So instead of offering a franchise, we are offering a ‘ Business Start up Package’. This package will advise you in how to start up your own house and pet sitting company.

The Business start up package is from £850 and includes:

  • Personalised name and logo
  • Operations Manual
  • Stationary CD
  • Business forms CD
  • Pricelist, business cards and promotional materials
  • Inurance information
  • Book keeping, Tax and NI information
  • Advertising and Launch
  • Help and support for 1 st year

If you are interested in having your own house and pet sitting company this is a fully comprehensive package for you to start up on your own. It is the same as a franchise but you will have your own name and personally designed logo, you won’t have to pay an annual charge when trading, but you will still have 1 years help and support should you have any questions.

Still interested?! Then do some research yourself and see if there are any local companies offering the same service. If there are only a few then contact us and we will send you more information!
