Pets Home Alone?

About Us.

Pets Home Alone is made up of a small group of people all of whom have expertise with different kinds of animals in different situations. It wasn’t started consciously, it just sort of evolved.

My name is Sally, and my family and I have had animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters and horses, oh yes, and Fidel the rat.

I, like a few people on the team, worked for the Blue Cross for several years and we are used to animals with behavioural and health problems.

I then decided to go travelling and worked in the racing industry in New Zealand. When I came home, I carried on mucking out, dog walking and house sitting for friends, as I have done for many years, and thought that I would actually like to expand the operation….

I approached the Princes Trust who very kindly granted me a Business start up loan and, with the help of my first employee, my mum, Pets Home Alone took off.

That was in August 2005 and now some years later, the team has expanded to four people, we cover a large area in East Sussex and are looking to expand into other counties. The variety of animals has increased to include sheep, goats, monkeys and reptiles.

We are all police checked and insured and can supply numerous written recommendations and phone numbers from satisfied customers.

Our aim is to look after your animals and your home as though they are our own.
